Colstrip Dial-Up Customers
Before December 28, 2005 you will be required to change your Colstrip dial-up number to 748-7000 and your dial-up username to your-user-name@tgrsolution.net. (Substitute "your-user-name" with your Swirling Megabits dial-up username) for example, if your account name is currently entered as janedoe, you will need to change it to janedoe@tgrsolution.net. If your account name is currently entered as janedoe@swmbits.net, you will also need to change it to janedoe@tgrsolution.net

Below are instructions for making this change for the most common Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

How to Change your Settings
You can manually change your settings, or you can download our utility which will make these changes for you. Please scroll down to review the option that works best for you...
1) Download Utility to Automatically make changes for you
Click Here to download the Colstrip dial-up utility. Select to save it to your desktop. Once download has completed, double-click the colstrip.exe file to run setup. After setup is complete, run the new program "Dial-Up Number Colstrip" on your desktop.
2) Manually Change your Phone Number and Dial-Up Username
Windows XP
  1. Go to Start-Control Panel and click on Network Connections.
  2. Double-click on your Swirling Megabits dialup connection.
  3. Change the phone number in the Dial field to 748-7000.
  4. Add @tgrsolution.net after your username in the User Name field.
  5. Hit Dial to save and test the change.
  6. It is possible that a screen will appear at some point asking if you want to make this change permanent. Please answer yes.
Windows 95/98
  1. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
  2. Double-click on Dial Up Networking.
  3. Right-click on the Swirling Megabits dialup connection.
  4. Select Properties.
  5. Change the phone number to 748-7000.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Double-click on your Swirling Megabits dialup connection.
  8. Add @tgrsolution.net after your username in the User Name field.
  9. Click on Connect to save and test the change.
Windows 2000
  1. Click on Start.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Click on Network and then Dialup Connections.
  4. Select your Swirling Megabits dialup connection.
  5. Change the phone number to 748-7000.
  6. Add @tgrsolution.net after your username in the the User Name field.
  7. Hit Dial to save and test the change.
  8. It is possible that a screen will appear at some point asking if you want to make this change permanent. Please answer yes.
Macintosh OS 8.x-9.x
  1. Click on the Apple Menu.
  2. Click on Control Panels.
  3. Open the Remote Access Control Panel.
  4. Change the phone number to 748-7000.
  5. Add @tgrsolution.net after your username in the Name field.
  6. Close the window and save the changes.
Macintosh OS X
  1. Click on System Preferences in the dock.
  2. Click on Network.
  3. Click on the PPP tab.
  4. Change the phone number to 748-7000.
  5. Add @tgrsolution.net after your username in the Account Name field.
  6. Close the window and save the changes if prompted to do so.
